Helios

Detect and classify global data risks with comprehensive visualization for data mapping and reporting for modern Enterprise.

• Consent Status Reporting (Beta): Enhanced website monitor consent compliance reporting with new status categories including Pre-consent, Consent Ignored, CMP Failure, and Not applicable. These statuses are now available as filters when viewing monitor results, enabling better triage and compliance monitoring of discovered assets.
• GVL Deleted Vendors: Systems that are no longer part of the Global Vendor List (GVL) are now displayed in the system inventory instead of being automatically hidden. This allows commonly used systems like Salesforce to remain visible in your inventory even after being removed from the GVL, while still excluding them from TCF CMP and privacy experience API responses.
• Data Map Report Fixes: Resolved issues where the data map report would crash when systems had assets but no associated data use declarations, and fixed intermittent database session issues with the data map API for improved stability.
• Configuration Updates: Changed the default value of monitor_celery_tasks_enabled to true for improved monitor task processing.

• Request Manager Enhancements:
  • Added Deadline, Completed On, and Last Updated columns to Privacy Request CSV exports for better tracking and reporting.
  • Action type column now shows all request policy types separated by + when a request has multiple policies.
  • Added permissions for "Approver" role to create privacy requests, display as "Submitted by" in the Admin UI, and access Privacy Center configuration for request submission.
  • Fixed issue where approver users couldn't see manual tasks associated with privacy requests from the detail view.
  • Privacy requests now support the location field and display location as a column in the request manager table.
  • Fixed column sizing bug in the request manager interface.
• Manual Tasks UI Update: Updated manual task configuration interface from a table to a list view for improved usability and better organization of task configurations.
• Privacy Center HTML Support: The Privacy Center now supports certain HTML content when FIDES_PRIVACY_CENTER__ALLOW_HTML_DESCRIPTION is set to true, enabling richer content formatting.
• Location Validation: When the location field is configured for a privacy center via property-specific configurations, required location validation now occurs when requests are submitted.

• GPC Fixes: Applied comprehensive updates to ensure Global Privacy Control (GPC) works correctly in the Fides.js CMP and is properly communicated via the Global Privacy Platform (GPP) API:
  • Fixed the Acknowledge button on the FidesJS banner which was incorrectly overriding GPC settings, causing users to be opted back in after GPC opt-out.
  • Encode GPC subsection in GPP string whenever supported by the section (e.g., usnat, usca).
• Additional Improvements:
  • Fixed query to retrieve PrivacyNotice cookies, ensuring proper cookie deletion functionality.
  • Fixed privacy experience API so that it no longer returns unnecessary cookie metadata, reducing payload size and improving performance.

Integrations

• MongoDB Enhancement: Added SRV and SSL support for MongoDB connections, improving security and connection reliability.
• OAuth2 Support: Added OAuth2 support for connection configurations, expanding authentication options for integrations.
• Integration Workflow: After creating a new integration, users are now redirected to the integration detail page for immediate configuration and testing.
• Form Validation: Fixed error handling for optional integer fields in the integration form, preventing submission issues.

Fides core

• Taxonomy Improvements: Fixed an issue that allowed new taxonomy items to be submitted multiple times, preventing duplicate entries and ensuring data integrity.
• Location Selector Fixes: Fixed several areas where the location selector and display functionality had issues, improving user experience across the platform.
