Janus Mobile SDK 1.3.X release notes
- iOS SDK 1.3.0: November 4, 2026
- Android SDK 1.3.0: November 4, 2026
- Flutter SDK 0.5.0: November 4, 2026
- React Native SDK 0.1.0: November 4, 2026
The Flutter and React Native SDKs wrap the iOS and Android SDKs, so each of their releases includes the iOS and Android changes of the native versions it uses. Install instructions are in the Mobile SDK documentation and, for React Native, in Add consent management to a React Native app.
iOS SDK 1.3.0, Android SDK 1.3.0, Flutter SDK 0.5.0 and React Native SDK 0.1.0
Flutter 0.5.0 and React Native 0.1.0 use iOS SDK 1.3.0 and Android SDK 1.3.0.
Upgrade Notes
- React Native Needs A Native Build: React Native SDK 0.1.0 is the first release. Adding it changes your app's native code, so ship it in an App Store and Google Play build, not an over-the-air update such as EAS Update. Each React Native release's changelog entry says whether it needs a native build.
- React Native Requirements: React Native 0.81 or later on the New Architecture, and Xcode 27 or later for iOS builds. The Expo config plugin needs Expo SDK 54 or later.
useJanusWebViewneedsreact-native-webview13.13.1 or later. - React Native Installs From GitHub: Releases are tags on
ethyca/janus-sdk-react-native(opens in a new tab), not packages on the npm registry. Install withnpm install github:ethyca/janus-sdk-react-native#0.1.0.

Consent management and enforcement across web, mobile, and server-side surfaces
- Bug Fixes:
- A WebView whose Janus bridge scripts install after FidesJS has initialized now reports
webviewFidesInitializedonce, markedextraDetails.replayed. Before, the app never heard that such a page had initialized. Janus's own TCF experience doesn't report the replayed event. - The Janus bridge scripts install once per page, even when a WebView injects them more than once.
- A WebView whose Janus bridge scripts install after FidesJS has initialized now reports
Flutter SDK
Flutter 0.5.0 moves to iOS SDK 1.3.0 and Android SDK 1.3.0, with no Flutter-specific changes.

useJanusWebViewreturns props for areact-native-webviewWebView. The page starts from the app's consent and device ID, so it shows no banner and its ad tags see the app's choice from the first load. Later changes in the app reach every open page without a reload, andclearConsentresets them.
