Helios

Detect and classify global data risks with comprehensive visualization for data mapping and reporting for modern Enterprise.

  • System Groups: Introduced business-aligned groupings that unify related physical and technology systems under a single, top-level entity. This enables privacy and governance teams to manage, visualize, and report on data use holistically across complex organizational platforms. Groups provide an additional reporting dimension with initial support in system inventory and data map reporting.
  • Enhanced System Inventory: Updated the system inventory page table to allow users to view groups, filter by data steward, and see data uses applied to each system directly from the table. This improves system management and visibility.
  • Data Map Report System Groups: The data map now supports using groups as an additional pivot. Groups appear in the leftmost column with underlying systems and uses organized by group, providing new reporting capabilities.
  • Taxonomy Integration: System Groups are part of the Fides taxonomy and can be created and edited from the taxonomy UI. Fides ships with a default set of groups that represent business units, but customers can modify these to map to their own organizational structure.
  • Promotion Task Fix: Resolved a bug with the promotion task that impacted fides_meta on promoted datasets, ensuring metadata is preserved during dataset promotion workflows.
  • UI Improvements: Changed "Recent activity" tab to "Added" in Action Center for improved clarity and removed the unnecessary ability to link systems with website integrations to streamline user workflows.

Lethe

Enterprise grade privacy request management and processing with a single orchestration layer for DSRs across vendors and systems

  • Request Manager Enhancements: Numerous usability improvements including loader display while waiting for results, URL pagination parameters for easier linking, elimination of search persistence bugs, and improved timezone handling for date ranges.
  • Enhanced CSV Downloads: Request manager CSV downloads now distribute the subject identity object and custom request fields object to comma-separated columns for improved formatting and readability. Cleaned-up download links reduce memory leak potential in Admin UI.
  • DSR 2.0 Deprecation: DSR 2.0 is now deprecated. New requests are created using DSR 3.0 only. Existing DSR 2.0 requests will continue to process until completion, providing a smooth transition path for current workflows.

Janus

High performance consent recording and orchestration for data sharing, built for enterprise data engineering and AI pipelines.

  • Admin UI Improvements: Enhanced search functionality in the language picker and fixed expandable locations in the notices table for better user experience.
  • CMP UI Enhancements: Fixed translation loading issues for TCF in some cases and improved TCF overlay messaging when no vendors are configured. This provides better user guidance in edge cases.
  • Bi-directional Consent Optimization: Migrated consent webhook processing to Celery worker to improve endpoint throughput and scalability. This ensures better performance for high-volume consent operations.

Integrations

  • OAuth Enhancement: Fixed a bug in the OAuth success toast notification to provide clearer feedback to users during the authorization process.

Fides core

  • Messaging Configuration: Added a messaging provider configuration page to the Admin UI for streamlined communication setup and management.
  • Enhanced Audit Trail: Added event audits for taxonomy updates.
