Make It Real in Mexico City: From Ambition to Execution
In January, our team gathered in Mexico City for an offsite built around one theme: Make It Real. Across focused working sessions and shared time in the city, we aligned on what execution means in 2026 and left with sharper priorities, stronger connections, and real momentum.

In January 2026, we brought the full Ethyca team together in Mexico City for our annual kickoff. The purpose wasn’t ceremonial. It was to align on what matters most this year: turning ambition into outcomes.
The theme we chose was Make It Real: From Ambition to Execution. It’s direct by design. At this stage of growth, the difference between a good plan and a great year is execution: clear priorities, shared commitments, and the discipline to finish what matters.
What “Make It Real” Means at Ethyca
“Make It Real” is a commitment to follow-through. To closing the gap between what we intend and what we deliver. To building a company where progress is visible, reliable, and repeatable.

We structured the week around focused time together: a company kickoff, workshops, and a dedicated day for deep work. Not to generate more ideas, but to sharpen the ones that matter, clarify ownership, and leave with a shared understanding of what we’re building and how we’ll get there.
There’s a kind of alignment that only happens in person. Conversations resolve faster. Tradeoffs are made with more context. Decisions stick. And the momentum that follows is grounded in clarity, not noise.





Building the Team While Building the Company
Execution isn’t only about plans. It’s about trust. It’s the confidence that we can move quickly without things breaking. It’s the ability to challenge each other directly, stay aligned, and keep the bar high without losing what makes the work enjoyable.
That’s why we made room for shared experiences across the city throughout the week, including Lucha Libre, indoor go-kart racing, an art and history scavenger hunt, and visits like Parque Quetzalcóatl and the Biblioteca Vasconcelos. We also shared meals together, including a farewell dinner that closed the week on the right note.
These moments weren’t “extras.” They strengthened the relationships that make real progress possible. You learn how people collaborate, how they lead, and how they show up for each other. That’s the foundation for moving fast with confidence.
Leaving with Momentum
This offsite was a marker of how much Ethyca has grown and a reminder of what makes this team special: high standards, real care for the craft, and a shared belief that the work matters.
We left Mexico City with clearer priorities, stronger relationships, and the kind of energy that comes from committing to a common direction and seeing the path forward.
Now comes the part that counts: we take it home and we make it real.
